Wasel ("we", "our", or "us") operates a delivery platform connecting customers with independent riders. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Name and phone number when you register.
• Location data: Pickup and drop-off addresses you enter when booking a delivery. Riders share their live GPS location during active deliveries.
• Payment information: Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
• Device tokens: Your device push notification token, used to send order updates.
• Usage data: Order history, delivery status, timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To match delivery orders with available riders.
• To process payments via Stripe.
• To send push notifications about your order status and rider location.
• To resolve disputes and support requests.
• To improve the reliability and performance of the platform.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Riders: Your pickup/drop-off address and recipient name are shared with the assigned rider to complete the delivery.
• Stripe: Payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Expo: Push notification delivery. See expo.dev/privacy.
• Supabase: Secure database hosting for your account and order data.

4. Location Data

Customers provide pickup and drop-off locations when placing an order. Riders share live GPS location only during active deliveries. Location data is not stored after delivery is complete.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Order history is retained for 12 months for dispute resolution. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time.

6. Your Rights

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time via device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Wasel is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
