Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wasel mobile application ("App") operated by Wasel ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Wasel. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Services

Wasel provides a platform connecting customers with independent delivery riders for same-day local deliveries in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We do not employ riders directly — they are independent contractors.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Orders and Payments

• By placing an order, you agree to pay the displayed delivery fee.
• Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
• Prices are displayed in Saudi Riyals (SAR).
• Orders cannot be cancelled once a rider has been assigned.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not use Wasel to:

• Transport illegal goods, controlled substances, or prohibited items under Saudi law.
• Deliver items that pose a safety risk to riders or others.
• Provide false pickup or drop-off information.
• Abuse, harass, or threaten riders.
• Use the platform for commercial resale or unauthorised automated access.

6. Rider Conduct

Wasel riders are independent contractors. We are not liable for the actions of riders outside of the delivery service. Riders are required to handle packages with reasonable care.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wasel is not liable for:

• Loss or damage to packages during delivery.
• Delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the Wasel App, including the logo, design, and code, is owned by Wasel and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Riyadh.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
